I was reading in a book about spells, there history etc, about magic belts.
Used not only for fetility, love & childbirth but also for warrior women guarding their loins.
The fertility ones mainly seemed to involve shells like cowrie shells...also the shed skin of snakes..shed being operative word her, rather than `taken`...the snake has to be coaxed to hand over its magic rather than skinned.
Also a red silk thread or a braid of sacred divine colurs ie black/white/red....them being 9 feet long...used a a circumferance ruler for witches coven circles.
Can anybody else think of good things to attach to belts of any of the kind mentioned or others if they are out there?
Spells to wear are so good & already we have handbag charms..keyring charms etc...it sounds so good to have a ring of spells circling ones own waist, either in view or hidden.
Any suggestions or other types anyone can think of?

Re: Magic Belts
Fri, November 23, 2007 - 3:00 AMHello :)
there is that story of Brunhild...she of the original Ring of Fire, she too has a belt. I saw a film based on her story and the belt was beautiful! I can't recall exactly what was on it, crystals, keys...but it was good and hefty.
I love corsetts for a similar reason, being bound tight, my flesh pulled in, hard and 'safe' makes me feel strong. When the corsett is off, I love the way my flesh is now so soft and vulnerable.
